I worked in a personal injury law firm for a year and a half. I got to see what really goes on. Providers overcharge for everything ($16 heating pad? $1,300. Not kidding), insurance companies deny everything, and the only ones who win are the lawyers.
@BattleDwarfGimli @milk the entire medical field is a clusterfuck. We had a chance to maybe rebalance it a little prior to 9/11 when they were going to limit lawsuits, but now we have ads for lawyers on interstates all over the place.

@TrevorGoodchild has talked about this a lot.
There are no more real doctors in the civilian sector anymore either. I am certain the elites still have quality doctors who know real medicine, but the majority of the population is preyed upon by essentially Big Pharma-funded drug pushers who happen to know how to set a bone or do some stitches (I know how to do all that).
@BattleDwarfGimli @TrevorGoodchild @milk there are still real doctors, but you have to go out of your way to find them.

Basically any non-american name is a warning sign for pharma pushers.
@sickburnbro @BattleDwarfGimli @milk Ways to find a good doctor and associated traits:

>White (obviously)
>At least 10 years of experience
>Board-certified
>Looks and interacts with you, not the computer while checking boxes
>Lets you speak as long as is necessary, minimal interruption except to ask focused questions or gently redirect the convo
>Does not jump straight to pills or surgery, asks lifestyle questions (exercise, recent stressors, family/friend support network)
>Minimizes medical jargon and is able to distill complex concepts into layman's terms

Nurses, PAs, X-ray techs and veteran admin staff know who the best doctors are. The ultimate mark of quality is a doc that other health care professionals will seek out or refer family members to

Asians are technically good surgeons (fine motor control) but have poor med/surg judgment and are very financially driven. Pajeets should be treated with utmost suspicion. Avoid negroids the way you would in daily life
@ins0mniak @BattleDwarfGimli @milk @sickburnbro Some of the best ones are rough around the edges, particularly the surgeons. But they radiate calm and competence. Some of the worst have "excellent bedside manner".

My current dentist said to me "oh, then it's going to hurt a lot" in a joking manner when I refused the medicine drug.

So, I knew he was not only aware and sharp enough to joke, but also not afraid to say the literally the dumb truth. (you would be surprised just how many dentists will lie to you even about this point.)
