I learned about the tactics of PETA by people who had worked for them. Only goal by posting ridiculous stuff is for people to keep discussing them so they stay relevant. The advertising isn’t meant to have any other objective than making people talk about them so they don’t become irrelevant.

Well, it might be so, but it is parasiting on the cause itself.
Veganism had become synonymous with the Peta jokes, so is it worth it? Obviously yes, if you're a psycho, but if you care about the cause, then this is a disaster.
