IP landline phone.
I don't think I've ever seen a technology so misused and abused.

@jeremiah
You take an internet capable device to emulate the shape of a phone from 50 years ago, make it starionary, locked to a cable, bulky, incapable of writing SMS, and the most insane part, you give them to every single person in the office, even though all of them have a smartphone and they have no space on the table as it is already.

@LukeAlmighty @jeremiah Because the alternative, using a barely working VoIP application on your computer that constantly disconnects with any connectivity hiccup or just crashes, is way worse. Nobody made something better than picrel.

@phnt @LukeAlmighty @jeremiah We're using IP-DECT stations here with wireless Spectralinks and Gigasets. Some wired Cisco IP phones, albeit with much smaller screen, are also in use.
@LukeAlmighty @phnt got it. It seems to me a reasonable alternative to carrying a surveillance device in one's pocket if being on a digital leash isn't a high priority.
@jeremiah @phnt @LukeAlmighty niggers and pajeets cant make money stealing avaya pbone systems. and reprogramming phones for endless revolving door retards and strippers at the banks collections dept would be a nightmare. when did you last talk to the tards at verizon
