The insane overreaction to the concept of "ick" was mainly just from the most feminine name for the concept they could think of.
But, now, that the topic is cold, It's obvious that the moment of spontanious and total attraction loss due to a total incompatibility demonstration is... real.
And I am kinda pissed, that the term got bad rep even before women could learn about the complexities of the topic 
@Zalo For example, I got an ick from a girl, after I thought about every single character she fangirls over is a murderous psychopath. Yeah, I get that she has a type.
But, she literally became a man to me at that moment. It actually is quite a strange feeling. 🤣
