I had perfect video for this that I cannot find, it was from Metal gear solid (iirc) and described eerily how "AI" will be used for, by god it was good, Ill post it later.
I have only ever had one long interaction with "AI"bro and he cited "AI" father how it was sentient( from what I know it is mathematically impossible) and how it increases productivity. I told how it is misused and he even agreed that but brushed it off as every thing being misused.
I had recently even eased up on it, as all its failures are survivorship bias and readjusted that it is more useful than I thought earlier ( https://berthub.eu/articles/posts/an-ai-premortem/ ) but then I realized how utterly more slop is produced and it being forcefully shoved in EVERYTHING that I rebounded to earlier position.

@Pi_rat @bonifartius @sunbeam_rider also that thing about vibe code debugging is hilarious to me. the best use for ai is generating bad code you have to debug and doing it faster than you the human generating bad code you have to debug. it works perfectly for that, nearly doubles my coding speed

Ironically enough, when I was debugging some shit, AI was amazing at that.
But it was debugging my shit, not its own.
