So, office space is insanely expensive. Work from home is proven to lead to more effectivity, it is literally the most demanded job benefit, and yet it's still somehow rare even in IT jobs.

I am sorry for your issue, but I was working from home for 5 years, and it was pure bliss the entire time.

Most important was the absolute LACK of distraction.
When I felt like working, there was no idiot behind me talking about literal shit and sounding. And on the other hand, when I felt drained, I could actually stretch or do any other kind of brain rest.
So, I was much more effective.

Do it for a year or two and home stops feeling like home. I have the "privilege" to work from home, because office is an almost 2 hour drive/train ride, but being there is still better for me mentally and when it comes to effectiveness. I have endless distractions home and I end up either working longer because of that.
