Wait... People are unironically living paycheck to paycheck?
It just never weighted on me, ever since I started an actual job, that people do live like that.
That's horrible.

This post is not to brag. It is to acknowledge, that I seriously had no idea how bad things are. An acquaintance just said, he cannot join, because "his paycheck didn't come in yet".
Just... WHAT?
@LukeAlmighty this is the most shockingly out-of-touch take that I've seen in quite some time. People who work paycheck to paycheck are the normal ones, not you. Many people are relying on credit cards. Most new jobs that are available don't pay more than 22 bucks an hour. Not to mention that there's a whole lot of people that are living with less than the median.

@LukeAlmighty I'm not sure how you made it this far without realising this. I need to move to the czech republic lol. This is normal in most parts of the world - especially for young people that can't live with their parents or whose parents charge them rent.

We have a lot of that in the US
