What's a broader application of Trump Derangement Syndrome? 'cause some people have something like that when it comes to AI.

@rasterman
To be fair, this one hit me too.
I have no idea what to think about this one, since the decompilations are something that most of modern infrastructure is not prepared for.

@rasterman
> since the decompilations are something that most of modern infrastructure is not prepared for.

@rasterman
I know, that this won't help, but me neither.
I never cracked a DRM, I never made a fucking mod. But, I know, that the "source code leak" was always an enormous event, and now(or soon), pretty much every source code is leaked by default.

But I am not haxor. I have no idea how bad that actually is. That's what I'm saying.

@LukeAlmighty Think about the possibilities: maybe they'll hack Windows and make it good.
@Rasterman @LukeAlmighty they'll give windows a new file system? The C: shit is so retarded
@LukeAlmighty @Rasterman you can't do shit with it. None of my past partition setups would be possible on normiedows. Literally impossible

@geistigbehindert @rasterman
Ok, fair. But, it's unintuitive as fuck.
I am by no means normie, but I really cannot see through that file system. And all the guides I tried so far were useless.

@LukeAlmighty @Rasterman partitions on Linux are simply paths you can set however you want. You can overwrite entire parts of your OS with the partition of a different Linux distro just for the heck of it.
@LukeAlmighty @Rasterman I do that with my home partition for example so my backup OS has the same settings files for my desktop
Follow

@geistigbehindert @rasterman
Yes, I get that part is possible, but do you know any guide to understand it?

And especially, how to not lose your mind from it :D

@LukeAlmighty @Rasterman its always the same textfiles and always the same syntax. I get some people hate the terminal but relying on GUIs can go wrong. Partitions themselves are the same thing as on windows just mounted differently. You need the UUID of the partition and just tell it where to be mounted at in fstab. But KDE Partitionmanager also exists if copypasting from an AI isnt good enough
@LukeAlmighty @Rasterman maybe you were never big into modding but most of Linux isn't much harder than early Skyrim modding
@LukeAlmighty @Rasterman hacking my Wii when I was 14 felt more dawnting than anything I've ever done on Linux tbh
