On one hand, they are correct. Installing a hydrophobic bug insect net could drastically reduce this issue.
On the other hand, buying such a net and gluing it to the car is not that hard.

I want to keep the ability to cool the car. I don't want to mess with the inner mechanisms of the door, and I especially don't want to solve the aerodynamics of 1-4 open windows, in all combinations, in speeds 0-160kph, and variations for turning.
Sounds like you understand, when it's raining an open door or window(s) will always let rain inside. 😊
