i think It just clicked for me this time about the entire community.
If they're straight, they need to troon to connect attraction to identification... Or, they need to be gay, or to non-binarize everyone by default.

And worse, it seems like an inevitable consequence of the complete separation of society by gender. If some people need that kind of identification with someone to enable empathy needed for connection, then each group growing up with different values, media, and even language will sever this connection completely.
