If I'm ever going to make a hero shooter. I'm going to try and include every iconic game weapon. I'll simply just disguise it as technology or magic in the world so I don't get sued.

Man teleportation, invisibility one shots and increase damage and immortality is going to be fun to balance!

@Mr_NutterButter Step 1: Travel to China and go to DongWeiXin International Holdings Inc headquarters
Step 2: Pitch the following idea to them: Destiny 2 but it's a mobile gacha game and it has anime girls instead of gay brown people
Step 3: Generate infinite money forever
I liked Paladins aesthetic for some of its weapons. It had some traditional firearms, but also had some weird crystal powered guns, which lead to cool reload animations - like what looked like a bolt action rifle that didn't cycle its bolt to fire, but instead pulled back the bolt for the reload animation to let the crystal cool down, or a pistol that had its magazine slide out halfway for the reload animation to cool the crystal, then slid the magazine back in. In some FPS games, if you set your FOV high enough, you can see the guy take the mag out of the gun then just slide it back in; Paladins intentionally showed you this for that pistol due to it actually working that way in-universe. Rather than the guns not working like real guns should due to the devs not knowing how guns worked or due to animation errors, the "incorrect" designs were intentional reimaginings of how they could maintain some of the visual features of real guns while reworking them to operate around the setting's magitech. Plus, it also lead to cool shit like dudes in magitech power armor using assault rifles and bazookas to fight shamans and wizards with magic staves, since their magitech sparked an arms race that basically speedran the entire industrial revolution from the medieval era to near-modern military technology within a few years.
