I saw a part of that new DC Creature Commandos show and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the new DCU is going to be absolutely insufferable. There's a character that only talks about killing Nazis, like its the only thing he talks about, it begins and ends every sentence and he has A LOT of dialogue. there's constant le reddit humor that's straight out of the worst jokes from the borderlands series. The princess they're protecting is a progressive that bemoans her eastern European country's failure to "progress into the future", says shes waiting to take power so she can be progressive and then states her interest in older men and has a full frontal sex scene with a character that is at least twice her age. Oh and the main enemy faction are a bunch of literal chuds and incels who are fighting so their leader can lead them to the Amazonian's island so they can conquer it and get state mandated Amazonian GF's. This is all in the first 15 minutes, I left the room after that.
