I am not saying I am old … but Raiders of the Lost Ark was made in 1981 and took place in 1936.
If it was made today, with the same time gap as the first movie, it would be placed in 1981. 😢

@Dan_Ramos it's still crazy for me because I wasn't born in that world so it feels like a foreign concept that the world was a better place and that we weren't in a dystopian hellhole.
