i know the stereotype is "americans eat bad food" and "white americans hate spicy food" thing exists but since I've lived in a place where almost all of the instant noodle/snacks/sauces/meals from stores are from Korea Japan China or the Philippines has made me realize that American Spicy is WAY spicier than spicy from those several places, at least as far as junk food goes

@vriska I'm assuming it's because people typically don't eat spicy stuff so when they do they want a large kick from it.

And thus because it's very strong in it's spiciness, people don't want to eat spicy stuff as much thus the cycle repeats itself.
