Sure, but potatoes aren't exactly the easiest thing to eat raw. They are pretty hard, and I'm not even sure you can digest them properly without cooking.

@alyx @march I'm sure there have been plenty of impoverished Irish potato farmers that have eaten them raw and been just fine.
