@techriot No I think AI is more relevant than sports. Sports is borderline irrelevance. We should work out more and watch sports less.

@techriot AI is just a lot of hype and gaslight. Just like bitcoin and other intangibles. Some people need and love to be distracted.

@techriot I have a block for now, plus it's planting season around here so I'm doing lots of yard work during the days too. Around here we're having 14 hours plus, of daylight so that's keeping me really busy too. Also, I have, or had some sysadmin chores to complete. I usually do those during the night. Surprisingly, out of all my sysadmin concers, I now have one outstanding and I'm going to see if I can fix that one tonight. All in all, I feel blessed, since I made lots of progress, where I thought that I would fail. So that's a good thing. Enough about me, how are you doing?

@techriot I'm not a professional writer but yeah, that's me too. Writing like coding and tricking out devices are just some of my hobbies. I'm working in the Linux console right now and this client allows me to chat on the fediverse without a GUI.

@MSP_SMIMSA Not only in this context either. I often work in the Linux console using fbterm and gpm for the mouse. So I don't even have to hit C-c anymore, I just have to highlight text with the mouse. Anyway I often forget this and hit C-c and end up killing whatever app I was working in. I hate when that happens too.
