I don't think I agree with the phrase "soft bigotry of low expectations" anymore.

When you keep telling people out there that X minority can't take care of themselves without help from your white savior complex, how is that "soft" bigotry?

How is that not more insidious and more damaging long term? How is that not psychological manipulation and abuse of these minorities? How long till you go into a full "I, Robot" tirade, and decide to put all minorities in boxes because the world is too dangerous for them?

You're trying to be another parent for minorities, but you are an abusive, overprotective parent, that will leave your "children" scarred and unable to function IRL.
