What if a logarithmic function was used instead of a linear $1 = 1 vote? Do you think it could help? Have it so that 1 million $1 votes > 1 vote of $1 million
@alyx @sjw it would be better. but the system is bad in general, because of what the government is meant to do.
if you want an example of where this would work well, look at companies. in fact, this is exactly how publicly traded companies work. it works there because the goal of a company is to produce profit for its owners. that should not be the goal of the government.

Governments are a problem because they are created and lead by imperfect humans. The more you want to solve problems via government, the bigger you'll have to make it, and the more the imperfect nature of humans shows within it.
Cronyism, corruption, short-sightedness, are all functions of humanity. As long as you have a government, you're gonna have these problems affect it.
