@kaikatsu you're getting confused, it's not a national formal organization but every big city has one or more antifa groups.

Also, just because they're not a national formal organization, doesn't mean there's no communication between the different chapters, and that they don't share goals, ideology etc. They just don't plan their activities together, in this sense they are independent. They are purposefully created this way, so if they perform illegal activities and one group gets caught, it can't really rat out another group, cause they have limited information on it. It's "resistance" tactics 101.
