I don't know if I can put an exact date on when GG died, but this was indeed a moment when the movement got some of the justice it was looking for. Personally I'm of the opinion that besides making more gamers aware of the issues and drawing them into politics, Gamergate didn't really accomplish much in changing the industry.

After that , yeah it went for a few months until after the 2016 when the political disagreements started to arise, but it didn't have the same "energy" because everyone felt like the message had been already delivered.
