Since so many have liked and shared this post I double checked the veracity of the photo. In the dull, I mean full length CBSN video there it is right there plain as day at 1:45 in the video - the perfect screen "shot!"

I wonder what the cover up story will be? Should be a good one.

Any chance some idiot camera guy accidentally mirrored either the photo or the live stream?

I had a little look at the video a bit after. I'm not sure if he's pointing at the arm because that's the arm hurting him. He didn't even seem to point to where the stab should be, but somewhat higher I think, closer to the shoulder. It looks more like the type of automatic body gestures we use when talking. If by chance he's left handed, this would definitely make sense, since he's making this gesture with his left hand.

P.S. I did a quick search while writing this, and it seems he might be right handed, so this has me confused again.

@alyx I think you have broken down how it will be explained though.

My suspicion is that it was intentional, the timing just seemed too perfect. That comes with how I feel about elites like him perhaps. They are forever devising ways to keep divisions between people pronounced. This should help. They love situations where both sides are convinced they are right.

TBH, it sounds more like your paranoia talking. People don't plan small hand movements to intentionally try to create divisions. They can plan creating fake news reports or censoring stories, but it's unrealistic to try to control every small movement someone makes, especially when we know we're prone to make a lot of unconscious gestures.
