I managed to play up until I arrived at the Lord of Cinder. Then I took a bit of a break... a bit too much of a break. I wasn't in the zone anymore and couldn't actually finish. But my experience was satisfactory enough that I didn't feel the need to try and finish it ever since.

@alyx @nerdman after long breaks (which happen A LOT) i grind weak enemies just to remember how the game works and feels.

((never helps though))

@NaiJi @nerdman
I figured I needed to grind a lot again, but:
1) I didn't feel like investing that much time into the game again
2) To defeat Lord of Cinder you need to be perfect at parrying, which I never mastered. If you can parry, it's actually supposed to be the easiest battle.

@NaiJi @nerdman
Ornstein and Smough are another duo you need to be careful with. 2 bosses in 1 battle, and they're both tricky.

And when you meet Seath the Scaleless, you are actually supposed to die the first time around, so don't worry.

Probably the Bed of Chaos I'd call as another more difficult battle. The rest are ok-ish in my book.

@alyx @nerdman i had bad time with every new kind of weakling and enemy and so each boss causes long breaks and procrastination... well, am still playing on. Painfully but I try

@NaiJi @nerdman
I probably made it harder for myself, since I wanted to make an archer build, and the game really isn't made for that. There are a few bosses you can cheese with the bow, but overall it hasn't been a good experience for me.

@alyx @nerdman ah... wow. I forgot this game even have a bow or magic. I am a normie: regular knight with shield and one-hand blade

@NaiJi @nerdman
The best builds are supposed to be the 2 hand blades with constant dodge/roll or 1 hand blades with constant parry.
I was either bow or 1 hand blade with block, cause I wasn't very good with parry.

@NaiJi @nerdman
The Oolacile DLC bosses are also kinda hard, but not in a way that feels unfair (like the Capra Demon). Artorias seems to be everyone's favorite.

@alyx @nerdman wait what? What dlcs? Are they a part of the Remastered version?

@NaiJi @nerdman
The DLC was actually named Artorias of the Abyss, but it takes places in the land of Oolacite. I'm not gonna spoil the story for you. It's pretty interesting.

@alyx @nerdman the aesthetics and the atmosphere are SOOOO damn good, I just can't consciously abandon my progress
