You can't ignore comorbidities. That's the stupid thing people don't seem to understand. You can live with a comorbidity for years and years, and when covid hits, it drives you over the edge and kills you. That's why we count comorbidity cases in any disease.
If we wouldn't count those, we'd end up having to say that HIV/AIDS doesn't kill anyone.

@alyx @verita84 So far, so correct. The problem with covid is, that nobody mention that it kills like AIDS since April. This led to boomers (this is what most old people are) to totally exaggerating the risks or ignoring the virus totally. This includes ignoring its evolution into a weaker form that seem to have only gotten better virulence recently.

On top on that comes that we are in the hand of people that are seen as habitual liars and grifters like Drosten who won't let go of the newly won influence and power any time soon. That has enabled pied pipers like Q.

How covid was handled could make it's own week long thread. I won't go much into it, I'll just say that I personally think USA did a worse job at informing people than even my shit hole of a country. I'll never forgive that idiot Fauci for telling people not to wear masks.
