Communism in the simplest sense is nothing more than
"Would you like to go into debt and work a job that makes you want to kill yourself simply to provide for yourself and your family, or would you like to do something you genuinely enjoy and are passionate about in exchange for the means to provide for yourself and your family?"
People who have swallowed the century of propaganda without question cannot imagine a world in which you simply do things without there being a transaction involved.
The argument against Communism I often hear on the level of the worker is "If we were Communists no one would be a doctor!" presuming the only thing that motivates people to practice medicine is money. Have you ever noticed how 90% of Doctors are lecherous wastes upon society? Those types would not bother w/ medicine in Communism

I love how you accuse others of having swallowed propaganda, when you're the one talking out of your ass. In Communism you don't get to choose what you do for a living. If the Communist state decides what it needs is more agricultural workers, you can be sure agriculture is the field the state will "encourage" you to join.
Your doctor example is strange, because if anything, a communist regime is more likely to pressure people into the field if, whether they like it or not, if they deem that more doctors are needed.
What you don't get in a communist regime on the other hand is people being freely allowed to have careers in entertainment. You're gonna object of course, and say artists still exist in communist nations, and that's true somewhat. But they're not free to produce whatever they want, they're freedom of expression is extremely limited and they are used by the state to produce propaganda. At the same time, they are limited in the remuneration they can receive in exchange of their artistic work. If you make too much money, the state sees you as "lecherous", and forcefully puts you to work in a factory, instead of letting you work as an artist.
Some of the stranger still effects of communism on entertainment can be seen in how China participates in olympic gymnastics. They have every girl they can try out to see if they have some inherent talent, and once they identify the ones with olympic potential, they torture-train them non-stop. They don't get to quit, they don't get to pursuit another career, they MUST become gold metal gymnasts as it is demanded by the state, or else...
