Yeah, if you have a Pi or something to run Calibre 24/7, it's pretty good.
You'll need to figure out how often you need it to fetch news for you though, depending on how much content the different feeds put out. I've found that I can miss articles with news feeds that publish a lot of articles a day if I don't have Calibre fetch at least every 2 hours.
