I would also add a variation of medical students' syndrome.
For those who didn't hear about it, medical students' syndrome is when you hear a bunch of symptoms of a disease and end up being convinced your normal daily fatigue and small aches MUST be because you also have that disease. As the name implies, it occurs frequently with medical students.
My hypothesis is that ecelebs and other categories of people who are more likely to interact with trans-people, will get to hear their "symptoms", and will eventually convince themselves that their own depression, anxieties and insecurities MUST be because they're also trans.
This might also contribute to explaining rapid onset gender dysphoria.
