For all pedestrians its important that they can have a chance of hearing a car coming around a blind spot

The main benefit of electric cars is that there is almost no vibration and you can't really hear the artificial engine vibrations when inside the chassis

@colonelj @alyx safety features can be annoying. It would be nice to have a car that is completely silent. But for a minor inconvenience they help a lot of people.

Also if you wanted to just remove the speaker than produces the noise I am sure you could find a way
