the internet society has drafted a new RFC that continued use of IPv4 is unwoke and you will be bonked if you do not use IPv6 you fucking philistines.

@alyx yeah i had an ipv6 only server for about one hour and i couldn't get it to do dns resolution or anything. not sure what was with that.
@alyx @icedquinn Same, the ISP I had in college gave me a whole /64 subnet but now that I live in Reston (so right next to a PoP I think) and have a nicer connection from Verizon I only get one ipv4.
@icedquinn @alyx Not worth it.
Also I don't think they have google fiber here, the only alternative is Comcast (which often does do ipv6.)
