This Helen Keller discussion made me wonder, why don't we get more conspiracy theories about really old events. Like what if Jesus only staged his death? What if Cesar never died, and really was a god, and retired to Argentina? What if Atlantis participated in a conspiracy, and the other conspiring nations had to sunk it because Atlantians were trying to spill out the truth?

@alyx Dude... if Jesus wasn't dead the "3 days and a wake up" bit makes WAY more sense.

@alyx The first event was discussed over and over again since the resurrection. There are several factors that speaks against Jesus staging his own death. It starts with the method of execution, continues with the fact that the guy who sponsered the tomb cave was well known and well regarded and ends with OT autism over the prophecies. Virtually all flavors of Christological controversy has been chewed through and spat onto the wall since the 6th Council.
