From what I can tell it's partly a trans-inclusive thing (although this brings the obvious question of why is it that we only care about trans-women and not trans-men), but it's also an issue of feminists finding the word "female" insulting/offensive/dehumanizing somehow. Don't ask me why, it's just something I've noticed and don't fully understand myself.

I kinda thought it'd be that way.
Here's what I think. The issue might be that there are 2 conflicting worldviews that trans-women have.
1) The general trans view that the two sexes/genders have traits that are quite different from one another, to where having traits of the opposite sex/gender makes you dysphoric.
2) Feminism, that states there are no fundamental differences between sexes/genders, and eventually ends up punishing masculinity in men and femininity in women as a consequence of denying these differences.
So imagine a trans-woman, that for whatever biological fluke can't connect with her male body and doesn't feel masculine, but is also taught to reject femininity, that femininity has nothing to do with womanhood, and even attempting to state that it does is bigotry.
So you have a trans-woman, that probably feels inherently feminine, but is also discouraged from expressing it. So she can't form a real identity for herself. All she is allowed to have is "trans".
Maybe this is also why other "identities" like non-binary and genderfluid have started to pop up.
I think the most major problem is the thing #trans women want is a fallacy.
They want to be "feminine", and they want the world view them as "feminine", but what the hell is "feminine"? This can actually different in different culture background and different people.
The definition of "feminine" is lost. But they are still crazily want to manipulate people to view them as "feminine". They don't want another person has his own definition but keeping try to control the worldview of other people. (#TERF with this shit as well, both suck as hell.)
This is their greed: manipulative.
Really really Disgusting.
Let me tell you why they are having a such poor reputation in Morden society:
1, People having the knowledge about #STDs, they can't cover up it anymore.
2, People having the knowledge about of what is a cis woman look like from porn, they can't pretend a cis woman to give a fxxk from guys lack of a fxxk in the tribe. That's the thing they used to do in the tribes.
3, The HIV pandemic and media education of HIV, since by 198X, deadly #STD. This also cause by the modern transportation spared HIV faster.
4, They love to ruin the reputation of their own people. Information spared fast nowadays, if 1 of trans woman did something bad, everyone is going to view their community suck...But I didn't see them control their behavior. That's why they try to use #fediblock tag to get those instances not willingly kiss their ass get blocked, controlling the media, but this is actually make themselves look horrible.
5, sexualized every relationship. Notice this: the only thing they can talk about relationship is sexual topic.
I don't sympathize with them a little.
