The mistake was that it already started up at normal volume. It should have started with lowered volume, maybe almost inaudible, then increased to distortion levels. It would have had a bigger impact, especially since there would be a bigger chance that people watched till the end.
Still, cool video. 10/10 would destroy my audio gear again.
