@alyx I thought they replaced stuff like this with forced login, I haven't seen a soft-block like this in recent memory.

No, it's still there, even with login. They even have an age gate in some cases. Although that just seems to be a way for them to get more personal info out of you, as they force you to verify your age with a credit card. Doesn't seem to matter how long you've had the account for, they'll still assume you're underaged.
@alyx yt-dlp bypasses age-gates.
