Just found one hell of a nostalgia rabbit hole... Haven't heard these shitty early post-revolution Romanian pop songs since... pretty much since they released.
Just realized that in a very popular Romanian song, the female artist was complaining she wasn't getting enough sex, only once a month, and even then she had to rape the guy (she doesn't say it directly, but strongly insinuates it). A bit spicy if you ask me...
@alyx I think I'm conditioned to like this music. Some of them are cringey but most of them are just campy.

Early Romanian pop music went from being fun and entertaining, to embarrassing a decade later, when we started to realize how bad it was, and now it's cringe, but in a funny/hilarious way.
