Because he has a certain way of engaging with people that involves people compromising their personal information. Usually what he'll do is antagonize somebody and then say that they fall short of some ideal (fitness, wealth, age, whiteness) Then the person he's engaging will be forced to qualify themselves with a physique selfie, bank statement, proof of age or forearm picture. When he found out I was a criminal, he locked on to me like a hawk wanting to know all about my crimes because he'd likely have access to a database and court records. But yeah... he asks a LOT of questions about people.
He also likes to act as a "mentor" which necessitates people giving him personal information.
Finally... he's involved with ANCreport of which I have my doubts about.

That doesn't seem like honest, moral behaviour, it seems very... subversive.

There are a few individuals I've know for a longer time, or that I've noticed have a more sweet innocent trustworthy personality, with whom I'll be more lenient and take them for their word. Of course that doesn't mean I'll easily doxx myself to them if they ask.

It's all just a mind fuck to get ammunition against the other person to use against them to get what you want. I'm so fucking upset I'm literally crying, and I know it's pointless and none of you care, but it fucking hurts. I guess I did it to myself, and I shouldn't have but I'm desperate for a crumb of sincerity or genuine care.

So far, my experience on the fediverse has been pretty positive, and I think a lot of the people I've met are sincere, though maybe some are a bit odd. @The_Quantum_Alpha, @thedonnerd and @parker all strike me as sincere.

Thank you. That was the only reason I doxxed myself online in the first place, to be more sincere & promote trust. Some guy on 4chan had a bunch of BAT (crypto) stuck in his browser he couldn't move to an exchange. I posted my identity so he could tip it to me, and I could route it back to him, without worries of being ripped off.
