Marvel has become so desperate that they're selling anthology books in Romanian supermarkets. Don't know if people are actually buying them, but you'd have to be pretty desperate to invest in this market. Children don't exactly spend their free time browsing supermarkets and parents are just gonna buy one or two of these books at best. They're not gonna turn into weekly buyers.
Manga on the other hand have made it into some bookstores.
@alyx manga here dominates bookstores comic sections because 95% of the marvel shit isn't translated in French
