Dumb thing I did in the teminal:

~/workspace$ rm -rf workspace no such file or directory ~/workspace$ rm -rf cd ~

half typed the command again thinking i mistyped the name then realised im in that folder and instictively typed the command to get to home

I usually instinctively do a ctrl+c whenever I realize I'm typing the wrong command

@alyx I did to. it still managed to delete some files used b programs. I had a backup though. Still dont dackup often enough.

I use btrfs with automatic snapshots. Even if I delete something by accident, it doesn't get truly deleted for about a week. That's on top of the usual backup to an external drive.

Also, what I meant to say earlier, is that I would have hit ctrl + c when I realized I wasn't in the right directory, and only after that I would have changed directory.
