@Giga_Vril_Breaker @alyx @borzoi yes, the denial of evil is pretty fundamental to most forms of the new age belief structure. we are all just different parts of the “oneness” trying to “experience itself” through duality and all that entails.
to their credit, if you go deep into it you find a very radical self-responsibility belief that she is attempting to express here. e.g. your entire existence is created from your higher self’s thoughts, therefore literally anything you experience is your responsibility, including things that happen to other people that you just hear about.
this is what she is trying to express, but holy shit you don’t start off with the big H when trying to make a point about personal responsibility.
she's been huffing the new age spirituality a bit too much, and clearly has an issue with saying the quiet part out loud.
broadly speaking (which is the only way you can talk about it, since there's no way to hammer any of it down because it's not coherent), many strains of new age thought hold that we are a spirit choosing to live a specific existence for the benefit of our higher spiritual self, and so all the key events in your life are planned out ahead of time by your higher self in agreement with other spiritual forces. ergo, the souls of the holocaust victims chose to be born at that time and experience the holocaust.
well, they would have, had the holocaust been something that had actually happened.
new age philosophy and especially the intersection of it with with UFO mythology is not something you want to waste any time on, unless you can't get enough of demonic deception. it's completely devoid of any meaning and will literally espouse explicit nihilism as a positive view of the world.
while on the topic of UFOs, those are demons as well.
