The technology itself is incredibly ingenious, so from that point of view it is pretty cool.
It's just that it has yet to be put to good use. The original Bitcoin implementation was the closest to actually being good, up until huge corporate farms and exchanges took over the market, almost nullifying the whole inherently decentralized nature of crypto.
@alyx@gameliberty.club yeaa, i mean, these days, if you want to look at a better example of cryptocurency it would be Monero, which isn't that bad
