I appreciate that the mod maker has cute asian waifu, but did he really need to put a picture in the bathroom too?
Well, the shit started while I was stuck in an elevator, akin to Blue-Shift, and then the elevator crashed.
Oh, and zombie soldiers... that still know how to use their guns. Sooo... just normal soldiers, that walk slow.
So after killing more soldiers than I can count, and frankly getting sick of them, I find one of those nuclear warheads, like in Opposing Force. Upon approaching it to disarm, it goes off, but instead of dying, I get teleported to Xen. Only now, I come across some ancient ruins...
If you thought HL Xen was bad, this is sooo much worse. You just run around through caves. It's just dark and wet. Basically a spelunking simulator. Barely any enemies to kill. But... you start finding more weird... ancient alien ruins?
And then it gets full blown weird... I didn't know what to think of it at first, but after a while it reminded me of the Combines.
And at the top of the structure...

Believe it or not this was a teleporter.
Back on Earth, with all the green nuclear slime I've come to love.
Now why do you reckon the mod maker suddenly gave me this much health? That's right, epicly hard fight time!
Mother of all Xen crystals. It was guarded by at least 6-8 alien controllers, about 4 vorts, and some zombie soldiers.
And that was Half-Life: Residual Life... wait... this whole thing was actually thought up by Marc Laidlaw himself?! Jesus... definitely has enough of weird in it for that to be the case.
In the Half-Life universe, death involves getting a train ride through Black Mesa.
This time I'm apparently leaving it though. At the end I get approached by a Barney with G-man voice, basically telling me: don't try to interfere, bitch.
