You know what's funny about the whole zero-carbon push? Because scientists and governments are basically unwilling to consider geoengineering as a solution to global warming, even if you do reach and even exceed whatever random target they decide on for global net zero, it doesn't really matter. On the long run we're still fucked. You already have enough CO2 in the atmosphere for feedback to happen, the climate will continue warming up, the sea will continue to rise, for decades to come.
This was basically a battle we lost before we even thought about fighting. GG
