I'm having a strong WTF moment right now. Over a third of their energy is still fossil fuels. You'd think that if they think they can afford to close something down, the FIRST on the chopping block would be the coal burning.

I already knew what Germany did here was stupid as hell, but I assumed that their fossil energy had already dropped to insignificant levels. Like at most 5-10%, and they needed to keep them up because they're more flexible in adapting to changes in demand.
