Nintendo spokesperson told Eurogamer "We have decided to suspend shipping all Nintendo products to Russia for the foreseeable future."

N: "This is due to considerable volatility surrounding the logistics of shipping and distributing physical goods."

M: "Why is there volatility in the shipping of physical goods?"

N: "Because of the war."

M: "So you're suspending shipments because of the war?"

N: "No."

Saying you're suspending shipments because of the war, would imply Nintendo directly opposes the war and suspecting activity would be a political act on their part, just like every other company out there.
Nintendo is usually against doing politics, but they also recognize that right now doing business in Russia is not really safe. You don't have any guarantee that your shipments will make it to Russia, that you'll get your money for your products, that some third party won't try to intercept either of those along the way. So for now it's less risky to withdraw from Russia.

This is basically what I think their public statement means. They don't have a political opinion on Russia's invasion, but the unstable region still makes it difficult to do business safely.
