Huh... guess my country does do good things every once in a while. Cluj's mayor Emil Boc does usually receive good praise as a mayor... he just was complete shit as a prime-minister.

There is some criticism here, and enough expectation to be fit that you still have mandatory PE class even in university, but people are still on the lazy side, and beer belly is a regular thing.
but beauty standards are always being criticized here. wish we were free to pursue societal health

In my circle at least, beauty standards are the same as they've been for at least 20 years. No major changes. Including a preference for more tanned skin... which I personally hate.
BUT.... I am starting to see fat/obese children currently growing up. So not sure what things will be like in 10-15 years. We might start seeing the kinds of shit the west is going through.
