Because of the shitty BLM campaign, and the plainly obvious worship of Lewis from everyone in the sport, starting with the journalists and ending with the FIA itself, I had prepared myself to renounce the sport. I had decided that if Hamilton wins again, I'd stop following F1 forever. I was absolutely disgusted with how things were going.

And then Verstappen won... and I had the best grin on my face as I experienced schadenfreude.

I'm still not entirely happy with the FIA, but I'm at least a bit hopeful that they'll stop kissing Lewis ass, or anyone's ass, purely because of their skin color.
