Finished Fairy Tail, and my heart is filled with satisfaction and warm sentiments. The whole last arc didn’t really drag like happens so often with these things, there were a lot of great character moments mixed in with the fights against increasingly absurdly strong enemies. The whole series was a blast, I really enjoyed it, and I’m even more excited about sharing this one with my kids when they get a little older; other than the fanservice there’s nothing really objectionable here, the values are all very healthy and wholesome. If I had to give it a number rating I’d give it a 1/10, because out of 10 or so major female characters only 1 was pregnant by the end. But it also leaves the door open to imagining whatever future you want so you could say we are invited to imagine the 200/10 epilogue.
