IMO January 6th was anything but an insurrection attempt, but as it stands an insurrection would be justified.

As it stands, America is facing the exact same problem that has plagued Romania for well over a decade: the institutions responsible for investigating the highest forms of corruptions in the state are themselves corrupt and actively being used as a political tool by unknown people.
From our experience, there doesn't seem to be a reliable way to fix these institutions. Any attempt to do so will be deemed as "corruption" or "coup" by the institutions you're trying to fix, and you'll be subsequently locked up if you continue.
But, as USA is not a part of EU, maybe it can do what we're not allowed to: dissolve the FBI and any other institution that has become corrupt.

It's gonna be hard to do. If the left-wing media decide to play defense for the FBI (and I don't see why they won't, since they're under the influence of the same corrupting forces), it'll be neigh impossible to garner enough public support for this to happen. On the contrary, they'll manage to turn dissolving the FBI as a bad, undesirable goal, and accusations of "X wants to dissolve the FBI" would be as scary to politicians as accusations of racism, and to "virtue signal" you'll end up with right-wing politicians increasing funding to FBI. (speaking from Romanian experience)
