A question just hit me. Do African countries not have any rich folklore? Is it really impossible for some woke diversity hire to travel to Congo or something, and find an old wise man/woman to tell them their myths and stories? They must have some kinds of passed down legends of their ancestors or something. I mean, they're not complete savages, right?
Second pic is from "Kirikou and the Sorceress", which I saw, and it was OK, a few nice visuals, but pretty basic overpowered super lucky protagonist, like loony toons, I would compare it to speedy Gonzales.
