Here's a question that has been bothering me for a while now.

In efforts to market themselves as environmentally friendly, many companies are coming up with products that they claim use recycled plastic. Great idea, I love it if it's true.

But that's my question... is it true? How can I verify that the plastic used in the product does include recycled material? I've seen claims of up to 50% recycled plastic, but how could I tell that even 5% of the plastic used is recycled? Cause I'd be a lot happier with a certifiable 5% recycled material, than a potential bogus 50%.
