Remember when ballerinas are en pointe they are literally supporting their entire weight on tips of their big toes and make it look like the most effortless thing ever
@mushroom_soup I was in the hospital for 8+ hours after tapping my feet too long at my desk. it's called turf toe and it's one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. if a woman can do that regularly I have nothing but respect

They can, but... from what I've heard, professional ballerina's feet end up deformed.
