@iska @alyx Graphene? You mean trusting Google's code, drivers, and security patches, while considering them to be an enemy?

Duuuuuuuude Microsoft is out to get my text files, so I use VS Codium
@alyx @iska Google has audited the code of Google and determined that Hitler... I mean Google did nothing wrong. CASE CLOSED

Are you retarded on purpose? Android AOSP, that thing that custom roms are build on, is open source. Anyone can fricking check it out.

Dude, what are you even doing on the internet? What are you doing in front of a computer? What, you trust your Linux/BSD? Surely you didn't read every line of code in your OS?

You're a complete retard man. There are countless individuals, unaffiliated with Google, auditing AOSP. Are you gonna say you don't trust any of them to report what they find?

@alyx @iska lmao he's implicitly trusting randoms to do his auditing for him (or do you have wierd pronouns?), no one would ever betray you in the game of life. I'm sure the millions upon millions of lines of code are run over with a fine tooth comb like they do in OpenBSD, and that closed source blobs, drivers, and baseband software are perfectly cromulant and free of compromise

I'll say it again, what are you doing online? What are you doing in front of a PC? Because I promise you, most of the tech you're currently using does not abide by whatever standards you're trying to use in this argument.

But I do love that you switched from "I can't audit it myself, so I can't trust it", to "I can trust other people auditing it, but only for OpenBSD cause people I don't actually know promise me they run over it with a fine tooth comb".
